I am an Associate of the Climate, Mind and Behavior Program at the Garrison Institute. I received my BA in Environmental Humanities from Stony Brook University. Previously, I've interned with the US Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) as part of their Collegiate Leaders in Environmental Health program. During a hiatus from university, I received my International Ground Source Heat Pump Association (IGSHPA) certification in residential geothermal system design and installation while working for Eastern Energy Systems in NY. At university I loved to be involved in a number of projects such as research on NYC's Greenmarkets, co-designing the curriculum for the Sustainability Studies capstone course, working as a teaching assistant, serving as a Senator on the student government, and being the campus coordinator for the Energy Action Coalition’s 2011 Powershift conference.
